Sergei Pavlov I'm truly puzzled.
After their release from prison MA&NT said they are no longer Pussy Riot. Yet, there in Singapore, they came for a possible art award as Pussy Riot members.
They have no time whatsoever to meet Kate Samutsevich or other anonymous Pussy Riot members for 26 days already. It's quite a obvious statement. Yet, going abroad they act like they still represent Pussy Riot collective.
It seems truly as a dirty trick to me.
Oh, where is Kate Samutsevich? The award ceremony hosts were short of an entry visa?
Peort Verzilov made it in, though.

Aurelie Asseo Lilyfairpoetry Well, I do not think it is a trick, it seems they also want to act as indivual human rights activists while still belonging to the collective and other groups (Zona Prava, for the rights of political prisoners and anti facsict comitee 19 and therefore supporting newspapers and press of the opposition too Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty and Radio Svoboda like Masha Gessen does .)I heard there were some disagreements with Samutsevich since the begining, internal conflicts, I think these are the reasons, anyway,I am pretty sure they all will be efficient as human rights activists both ways, as a collective and as individuals

Aurelie Asseo Lilyfairpoetry I think we should all keep in mind that their replies to the Russian state is always sarcastic but prudent , the current presidential power in place is very dangerous!.

Sergei Pavlov Yes, it is a pretext. But my point of their criticism is totally different.
My point is, if they are in Singapore as Pussy Riot, why Samutsevich is excluded from the picture even with no clear explanation. Or, we supporters do not deserve one?
My second point is that the award itself is a lame reason to be there. It's Asian annual award and Pussy Riot were active exclusivly in Moscow, which is still part of European continent. And it was two years ago.
Also, they stated themself as no longer Pussy Riot. What is the reason for them to be there, though?
A photo-op?
Aurelie Asseo Lilyfairpoetry I think Маша Алехина, Yekaterina Samutsevich and Nadia Tolokonnikova have chosen Pussy Riot as the core of their activism, although the band and concept of band in itself is not unmovable, they are three different women sharing same ideals with different ideas, which is healthly! The band was also a way to survive when they were jailed as prisonners of conscience. Singapore is in Asia, it is not strictly a Russian point and then ? Human rights activism is universal! Humanity is universal! And Eurasian civil rights mouvement is part of it!Pussy riots are also anti-fascist activists which is reallly important, and also in Russia now, anti fasicsm is an essential human balm to cure human wounds provocked by fascism ,I mean antisemitism racism discrimination and murders- against lgbt's , women and" minorities", and monstruous contribution to mass murders in Syria and known Afganisthan - Anti discriminatory resistance and surveillance of wrong convictions and murders is a immediate way to elaborate a constructed resistance and new peacful roots - a bridge towards human right? A way to appease conflict, why loosing hope?! About Katia Samutsevich, there may be internal conflicts or simply maybe , these young women rely on each other, there are very young (, I know it because I am too) and they also need to recover afer being jailed for two years in Siberian Gulags! They are also young mothers. Finally their message is "not let-up in Russia human rights fight" well the fight is worthwhile, worthwhile and necessary, really necessary.

Sergei Pavlov wouldn't argue with anything above except two points I've stated already.
The Asian award is a bogus excuse. There is no connection whatsoever between what Pussy Riot did in Moscow two years ago and the purpose for this, no one heard before, award. Even more ironic it looks when it learned there were zero support form Singapore or mainland China for Pussy Riot. Only people in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan expressed their support.
As for Kate Samutsevich her highly noticable and unexplained absence looks rather as an insult as after almost a month since the release Tolokonninkova had no time simply to meet her used to be a close friend.
It is unexplainable on personal, social or ethical levels.
I have only these two points and nothing else.

Aurelie Asseo Lilyfairpoetry Maybe they also want to enjoy good time a little, like any young, with their agreements and disagreements,.
